The Bahraini regime is pressing ahead with the crackdown campaign against its own people.
According to Press TV, Manama has denied the daughter of a prominent opposition leader an Identity Card. The news was made public by Sheikh Ali Salman’s wife.
Salman is the Secretary General of al-Wefaq Islamic Society and is currently in jail. Authorities have refused to give his daughter an ID card because of his father’s imprisonment.
Dozens of children of Bahraini political activists are also said to share the same fate. Several rights organizations have already expressed deep concern about Manama’s violation of the rights of Bahraini children.
They say since 2011, more than 10 Bahraini children have been killed and hundreds more arrested.
