Ashura Photo Exhibition Opens in Turkey

-- A photo exhibition on Ashura opened on December 18, the first day of Muharram, by the Center for Zeynabiyyeh Designs which will run for 16 days at Zeynabiyyeh Mosque in Istanbul.

According to information center of the mosque, photos taken by Ercan Aydeniz, a famous Turkish photographer, to mark mourning ceremonies held on Ashura and martyrdom of Imam Hussein (AS) in Istanbul will be exhibited to the public for over two weeks.

The ceremonies held on the occasion at Halkali Square in Istanbul with presence of thousands of foreigners and Shia Turkish citizens are due to be put on display at the exhibition for guests from turkey and other countries.
