Modeling the Alawi conduct and lifestyle is the secret of families' consolidation”, Hujjat al-Islam Mandegari pointed out.
In lecture series of ‘religion, hilarity, life’ that was held in the Jumhuri courtyard with presence of a number of pilgrims, Hujjat al-Islam Mahdi Mandegari expounded the importance of following the Alawi conduct and lifestyle.
“Modeling the Alawi conduct in the daily life should take place practically. That means such a lifestyle should be modeled practically in the daily life not merely orally and superficially”, he put in this regard.
“Following the Alawi lifestyle can resolve many social and family problems in the society as the blessed entity of Imam Ali (A.S.) is an example of a perfect man”, remarked the religious expert.
Noting that some are modeling the satellite channels instead of taking Imam Ali’s (A.S.) conduct as a model, he said, “The existence of very many problems in the family and society is a result of heedlessness to the Alawi lifestyle and following the western culture.”
Referring to attraction and repulsion of Imam Ali (A.S.), Hujjat al-Islam Mandegari said, “Imam Ali’s (A.S.) attraction and repulsion was based on monotheism; his holiness attracted anyone who possessed the least amount of monotheism in himself and repulsed anyone who had the least amount of infidelity and dualism in his heart.”
He added, “His holiness was full of attraction and repulsion; he treated good people in the utmost affection and in the contrary treated the enemies of God extremely harshly, denoting clearly the verse ‘they are merciful with each other and harsh to infidels’.”
“Imam Ali’s (A.S.) attraction stood on some essential bases. His primary attraction basis was performing divine mandatories; anyone who fulfilled his mandatories was attracted by his holiness since performing mandatories adorn the human soul”, he asserted.
Hujjat al-Islam Mandegari recounted abandoning the prohibited acts as the second aspect of Imam Ali’s (A.S.) attraction; it means one who wishes to be attended by his holiness should not commit any prohibited act since it works as the poison and results in ailment and death of the soul.
Hujjat al-Islam Mandegari considered serving people as the third feature of Imam Ali’s (A.S.) attraction and said, “Serving people serves as atonement for sins and raises human’s degree.”
