Sectarianism, anti-Shia moves, hurdles to Bahrain issues: Official

Hujjat-ul-Islam Meysam Salman, Religious Freedom Department of Human Rights Watch in Bahrain, participated in a conference on the topic and stressed the urgency of a true national dialogue so that a revival of the citizenship rights of the people will resume social and political stability in the country. 

He stressed that freedom of religions in Bahrain are strictly influenced by racial segregation and noted,” This has led to clear violence of human rights in Bahrain as the Human Rights reports on the critical situation in Bahrain reveal.”

Senior member of the human rights organization in the Persian Gulf state stressed that once the recommendations in human rights committee report are carried out, Bahrain will turn into an exemplary for all countries.

Sheikh Meysam Salman noted,” US human rights report in Bahrain announces that targeting Shia citizens, particularly in their religious rites, depriving them from positions in the army, police and other bureaucratic positions as well as sectarianism and segregation are clearly witnessed in Bahrain violating the rituals of Shia community.
