The first edition of an international forum titled “Rhetorical principles in understanding Qur’anic discourse and interpretation” will be organized on December 16 and 17 in Tetouan, Morocco.
According to jadidpresse.com, the Ibn Abi Rabi’ Al-Sibti Linguistics Center affiliated to Morocco’s Muhammadiya Scholars Society will organize the two-day forum.
The Department for Typological Researches of Literature Faculty in Tetouan will cooperate in holding the Qur’anic program.
The main objective of the forum is to determine the principles and structure for a better understanding and a correct reading of the Qur’an. Such a structure will provide a correct explanatory and interpretative discourse of the Holy Qur’an.
The participants in the program will answer the questions about the scientific cooperation of the Arab world in the clarification of Qur’anic concepts.
“Codification of basic concepts and terms”, “The role of morphology, syntax, rhetorical sciences, and miracle studies in understanding the Qur’anic discourse and interpretation”, “linguistic dictionaries and their influence on understanding and interpretation of Quran” and “sciences relating to the text of Quran and the relation between understanding and interpretation and implication in Qur’anic discourse” are the four main themes of the forum.
