The fifteen sections include the life of Imam Hussein (AS) from his birth until his martyrdom at Karbala as well as the significance of Ashura. It also contains five innovative route maps of Imam Hussein’s caravan of (AS). The encyclopedia was compiled by Seyyed Mahmud Tabatabaiinejad and Seyyed Ruhollah Seyyed-Tabaii, translator Abdolhadi Masudi, Mehdi Mehrizi and Mohammad Moradi. The electronic version of the encyclopedia was initiated at the Hawzeh website in January 2009 and the book was introduced before the beginning of the month of Muharram during which Shias commemorate the anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Hussein (AS) and his seventy-two companions on Ashura (10th of Muharram).
