The holy Prophet (pbuh&hp) had been the perfect behavioral role-model of the people. in his behavioral approach, there is something flamboyant which is worthy of consideration; despite the fact that the people at his time were not equal to him both in behavior and thinking and they used to have their own particular behavior and even insulted him openly, the Almighty God ordered him in the Sural of AL-E-IMRAN: " Forgive them" (AL-E-IMRAN/159).
That is, although you are right, forgive and forget. When one of the two sides of the conflicts who is right forgives, the other side will be less angry and regret due his prophet-like behavior.
