Int’l Center for Quran Publication Opens in Mashhad

-- With the presence of Ayatollah Hashemi Rafsanjani, an international center for Quran publication was opened yesterday, December 5, in the holy city of Mashhad.

Following the opening ceremony of the center, head of the Leadership Experts Assembly visited various parts of the newly established center.

The 12000-square-meter center is predicted to annually publish 5 million Quran copies. It is located at a 22270-square-meter site 25 kilometers from Mashhad.

Having started in 2007, construction project of the center concluded in 2008 and then necessary equipments were imported from Germany.

The center has been equipped with the most advanced publication technologies ever used in Iran.
