Ata who is one of the hadith narrators and a contemporary of the prophet of Islam once went to see Ayesha and asked her about the most wonderful thing she has ever seen from the prophet. Ayesha while crying said: one night the holy prophet came to me and said leave me alone tonight, I want to be with Allah and worship her, then the holy prophet went to make ablution (Wudu) and after that stood to say prayers and during his prayers he shed tears and then he prostrated and wept for a long time. After he was finished worshiping, I said to the holy prophet that why he was crying in such a strange way while both his past and future are filled with mercy and blessings. The holy prophet said why shouldn’t I be thankful of the Almighty Allah and worship him?
