The second edition of the exhibition called "From Ashura to The Reappearance (of Imam Mahdi (AS))" has been mounted in the western part of Kabul, Afghanistan.
According to the public relations office of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO), the exhibition has been organized on the occasion of martyrdom anniversary of Imam Hussein (AS) and his household and companions in the month of Muharram.
Waiting (for the Imam of the time), convoy of the captured (in Karbala), where Imam Hussein (AS) was martyred, ‘Alqama river and Baqi' cemetery are among the themes featured at the exhibition.
It has been held by Ma'ud (the promised) Scholarly Assembly in Afghanistan.
Participants at the opening ceremony of the exhibition stressed that Husseini school of thought should be taken as a role model and the teachings of Ashura should be clarified for the society.
The exhibition was opened on the first day of Muharram (the first month in the lunar Hijri calendar) (October 26) and will continue until the 13th of the month (November 7).
