Sharjah Holy Quran and Sunnah Award Planned

"Sharjah" Institute of the Holy Quran and Nabawi Sunnah will hold the 18th edition of Sharjah national Quran and Sunnah Award in the UAE.

According to Al-Bayan website, registration for the competition has started and will continue until October 31.
Matar bin Dalmouk, head of the council of the Quranic institute said that the competition will be held in two groups of male and female participants and for different age groups.
The categories of the Quran competition will include memorization of the entire Quran, memorization of 20, 10 and 5 Juzes (parts) of the Quran and memorization of Nabawi Hadiths.
The official added that those with disabilities can also participate in the event and compete on memorization of 5 Juzes of the Holy Quran.
There are two more categories including memorization of 5 or 2 Juzes (parts) of the Quran for mothers aged more than 50 and memorization of the entire Quran for imams of mosques and Muezzins.
