Muslims stage rallies to celebrate birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH)

Like Sunni Muslims, Shia Muslims too hold congregations and stage rallies to commemorate the birth anniversary of Hazrat Mohammad (PBUH), last apostle and prophet of God Almighty.

Founder of Islamic Revolution in Shia majority Iran had directed the Muslims to observe a unity week from 12th Rabi ul Awwal to 17th Rabi ul Awwal for joint celebrations on the anniversary of Hazrat Mohammad (Peace Be Upon Him).

Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen and Imamia Students Organisation hosted the congregations and rallies in all over Pakistan. Millions of Shiites participate in these rallies and congregations.

Sunni and Shia Muslims point to the fact that Imam Khomeini’s stance was vindicated and Yazidi takfiri nasbi elements were isolated on the birth anniversary of Prophet of Islam.

Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari and Allama Amin Shaheedi of the MWM announced that weeklong celebrations would continue.

Pakistani streets witnessed an unmatched unity of Sunni-Shia Muslims and enemies and opponents of their unity were isolated because they don’t celebrate the birth anniversary of the Prophet of Islam.
