Compilation of First Martyr’s Works Completed

In a meeting of holding members of the congress of the Two Martyrs (Muhammad bin Jamaluddin Makki Al-Ameli & al-Shaikh Zainuddin) with Ayatollah Subhani, Hojjatulislam Sayed Hasan Rabbani, chairman of Islamic Propagation Office of the Islamic Seminary of Qom announced the accomplishment of the compilation of First Martyr’s works which are due to be presented in an international congress in commemoration of the two great scholars.
“The First Martyrs and Second Martyrs (known as Shahidayn) have played a unique role among the Islamic scholars and we have to study the various aspects of these Martyrs’ lives,” Rabbani said.
“It has been more than ten years since the Islamic Propagation Office of the Islamic Seminary of Qom has started compiling the Two Martyrs’ works and at present the compilation of the First Martry’s works has been finished and the Second Martyr’s works will also be made available in the congress to be held in Lebanon,” he further said.
Also chairman of Islamic Sciences and Culture Academy of the Islamic Propagation Office said that the congress in commemoration of the Two Martyrs will be held on September 20 to October 1 in Iran. Meanwhile, he stated that the encyclopedia of First Martyr’s works includes 20 volumes that will be on display at this congress and also Second Martyr‘s works will be presented at the congress to be held in Lebanon.
He further added that the First and Second Martyrs’ collection consists of those works which have not been published before. In addition, annotations and marginal notes by these great scholars on jurisprudential subjects and also the articles written about them have been gathered in these encyclopedic works.
