Ahlul Bayt News Agency (ABNA.ir), HOLY CITY OF KARBALA, Iraq: Martyrdom anniversary of Al-Imam Ali Naqy Al-Hady (AS), father of Al-Imam Hasan al-Askary (AS) and grandfather of Al-Imam Al-Mehdi the Awaited Imam (AS), was observed in Karbala with reverence on Wednesday June 16.
Marking the occasion, mourning processions marched through the streets of Karbala an then culminated at the holy shrines of Al-imam Al-Hussein (AS) and Abi’l Fadhl Al-Abbas (AS) presenti ng to them condolence.
Markets and shopping malls were closed.
