-- A Quran competition for school students will be held in Qatar, the Al-Raya Daily reported.
Entitled “Mazamir Al Davoud”, it is organized by the Al-Wajba School in the capital Doha with the aim of developing Quranic talents and promoting Quranic teachings among students.
The competition will be held next month at three levels for elementary school, guidance school and high school students. Elementary school students need to memorize Surah Al-Mulk to enter the contest while the guidance school and high school students should memorize Surahs Al-Fath and Ya-Seen, respectively.
The deadline for registration is March 12. Winners of three top titles at each level will receive awards and certificates of honor.
