Tehran's Interim Friday Prayers Leader, Ayatollah Seyyed Ahmad Khatami has described the ten day dawn celebrations, marking the victory of the Islamic revolution as an example of "The Day of God".

 

Speaking to a large crowd of Friday prayers worshippers in Tehran, on the eve of the Ten-Day Dawn celebrations marking the victory of the Islamic Revolution in Iran, Tehran's Interim Friday Prayers Leader, Ayatollah Ahmad Khatami stressed that the Islamic Revolution in Iran breathed new life into religion, reviving Islam and giving a new lease of life to Islamic countries.

Commenting on the importance of the Ten-Day Dawn celebrations, Ayatollah Ahmad Khatami urged officials in charge of organizing these celebrations to strive as much as possible to portray the full dimensions of the Islamic Revolution in Iran.

Tehran's interim Friday prayers leader went on to stress the massive participation of the Iranian people in the 11th February (22 Bahman) national rallies, marking the victory of the Islamic Revolution, and reminded those officials in charge of organizing the Ten-Day Dawn celebrations that it is their duty to convey to the younger generation the background and the factors which led to victory of the Islamic Revolution.

Elsewhere in his remarks, Ayatollah Ahmad Khatami referred to guidelines issued by the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution to all political groups and faction in Iran, particularly the elite and senior figures, emphasizing that continuation of rioting is against Iran's constitutional law, and plays into then hands of Iran's enemies, and is a betrayal of the Islamic Revolution, and a betrayal of the Iranian people.

Turning to the nuclear issue, Tehran's interim Friday prayers leader said peaceful nuclear energy is the lawful and inalienable right of the Iranian people, and warned the enemies that the Iranian people will never forego or relinquish their lawful nuclear rights.

In further remarks, Ayatollah Ahmad Khatami expressed the Iranian nation's sympathy with the quake-stricken people of Haiti , and forthrightly condemned the U.S. government's dispatch of 18,000 military forces to Haiti, under the guise of helping Haitian earthquake victims.

Ayatollah Ahmad Khatami went on to warn regional countries who are normalizing their diplomatic relations with the Zionist regime of Israel that what they are doing amounts to sedition and will result in strife.
