It will be attended by more than 3000 Quranic and cultural figures as well as the citizens.

AhlulBayt News Agency - According to the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization, the National Union of Schools and Quranic Institutes of Senegal invited the Iranian Embassy and Cultural Center in the African country to attend the program titled "journée coranique” (Quranic Day).

The national event will be held on July 30 under the supervision of the Senegalese president and caliphs of various Sufi orders in Senegal.

It will be attended by more than 3000 Quranic and cultural figures as well as the citizens.

"Quranic Diplomacy” is the motto of the gathering, to be hosted by the Islamic Institute of Dakar.

Quran expert and Qari Majid Zakilu will recite some verses from the Holy Quran in the program.

The Iranian Cultural Center in Senegal plans to hold an exhibition of Iranian Quranic artworks titled "Quran in the Mirror of Art” on the sidelines of the Quranic gathering.
