Islamic Center of Berlin hosts Quran contest

The contenders competed in four categories, namely Quran recitation, memorization and Quranic concepts as well as Adhan (call to prayers), the website of the center reported.

(AhlulBayt News Agency) - A Quran competition was held in the Islamic Center of Berlin this week.

The contenders competed in four categories, namely Quran recitation, memorization and Quranic concepts as well as Adhan (call to prayers), the website of the center reported.

It was organized on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Hazrat Fatemeh Zahra (SA), the beloved daughter of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

A number of Quran experts, including Ahmad Abolqassemi, Mehdi Qarasheikhlu and Abdulvahid Jafarzadeh, served as the panel of judges.

The center hosted the event on Friday and Saturday.
