Professor Ansarian: Stinginess curbs the movement, and piety is the engine of all movements.

Professor Ansarian: Stinginess curbs the movement, and piety is the engine of all movements.

Professor Ansarian referred to a recommendation of the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him and his progeny) about avoiding stinginess and said: The Holy Prophet (peace be upon him and his progeny) was doing Tawaf (Tawaf (Arabic: طواف‎, Ṭawāf; literally going about) is one of the Islamic rituals of pilgrimage. During the Hajj and Umrah, Muslims are to go around the Kaaba (the most sacred site in Islam) seven times, in a counterclockwise direction; the first three circuits at a hurried pace, followed by four times, more closely, at a leisurely pace.[1] The circling is believed to demonstrate the unity of the believers in the worship of the One God, as they move in harmony together around the Kaaba, while supplicating to God.) when he reached the side of the door- He was apparently doing the obligatory Tawaf- he suddenly saw a Muslim man who was begging Allah Almighty and asking him to solve his problems due to the respect of Kaaba and the value of this house

The Holy Prophet while doing his Tawaf stopped and turned toward the Kaaba in a way that shows he has broken his Tawaf and then put his hand over the shoulder of that man and said: swear Allah to something bigger, there is a swear higher and more valuable than Kaaba, the man said: I don’t know that, who or what do I have to swear Allah to? The prophet said: if you are certain about your piety, swear Allah to yourself, because the value of a believer before Allah is higher than the Kaaba, since this house is made of stones and soil while the believer is the Caliph of Allah. The man kept silent for a while, the prophet asked the reason of his silence, the man said: I have a defect that I can not swear Allah to myself, the prophet asked what his defect had been and he said: I am stingy, the prophet let go of him and continued his Tawaf and said this the following sentence: whoever is stingy will be among those who face the fire of the hell. No matter whether you have the religion or not, either you say your prayers or fast or you don’t do both, stinginess is preventing the movement and the piety is the engine of all movements; this piety moves the heart as well as the physic and body and also paves the way for financial movement.
