The Christian man said: Are you the son of the woman who was a cook? Imam said: cooking was her job and it was not something bad. Being very rude, The Christian man continued and said: your mother was unchaste and had a sharp tongue with dorky face. Answering him, Imam said: if whatever you said about my mother was true, may Allah Almighty forgive her, but if you have lied may Allah forgive you too for your lies and slander.
His patience and persistence created a profound change in the Christian man and caused him to embrace Islam.
