Hezbollah warns: Saudi kingdom at the brink of the Abyss

Muharram is the most important holy month for Shia Muslims and Ashura is the day Shias mourn the loss of their 3rd Imam, the grandson of Prophet Mohammad (pbuh), Imam Hussain Ibn Ali (as). In a widely commemorated event in Lebanon where more than a quarter of the population identify themselves as Shia Muslims, there stood the a leader whose name strikes fear in the hearts and minds of his foes, Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah.

Delivering his 9th day of Muharram speech at Sayyed al-Shohada Complex in Dahye (Beirut suburbs) where the biggest mourning procession across the country is usually held, with thousands of black-clad mourners attending, Sayyed Nasrallah asserted that the Saudi regime which represent the Yazid of our modern time, committed a historic mistake in Yemen when it thought that it could emerge victorious from the battle within weeks. As Sayyed Nasrallah noted that the Saudi and coalition warplanes have bombed everything in Yemen amid global silence, the latest massacre committed blatantly and unashamedly by Al Saud must be a motive for ending this war and the world must convince Saudi Arabia that it cannot win this war against the brave people of Yemen.

“The current Saudi leadership is pushing the kingdom to the brink of the abyss” the leader of the resistance said while reiterating that Saudi Arabia’s insistence on carrying on with the war will not only make it lose Yemen, but it will also make it lose itself. “The Saudi rulers must return to their senses”, Sayyed Nasrallah warned while asserting that Saudi Arabia has no choice but to accept the political solution since the latest massacre they committed at the grand funeral hall in Sanaa is a major scandal for the Saudi regime.

As for the Syrian scene, the leader of Lebanon’s Hezbollah movement, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, disclosed that the Middle East was in a phase of escalating tension and there appeared to be no prospect of a political solution to the war eing waged against Syria. Sayyed Nasrallah openly accused the USA, Saudi Arabia and some regional countries of blocking the political solutions inside Syria, at a time when the Syrian Arab Army and its allies have prevented the fall of Syria into the hands of the takfiri terrorist groups that have direct ties to foreign embassies and intelligence agencies.

Sayyed Nasrallah then explained how the US allowed Isis militants to leave Iraq for Syria during the recent operations in Iraq while the U.S. raids on the posts of the Syrian army in Deir Ezzor were not a mistake, yet, these raids were aimed at allowing Isis to seize control of Deir Ezzor.

The U.S.-Russian tensions are dangerous for the region, Sayyed Nasrallah claimed as he disclosed that weeks ago, there had been a chance to achieve a ceasefire in Syria through the U.S.-Russian agreement, but the U.S. withdrew from this agreement as it realized that striking al-Nusra would weaken the rest of the armed groups that are fully supported and armed by the US. This fact complemented with the cronies of the American administration in the region who are willing to keep supporting the armed “terrorist” groups through all means.

Sayyed Nasrallah ended off his 9th of Muharram speech by reiterating that steadfastness and perseverance are needed during this stage to defeat takfirism, extremism and terrorism especially that are embraced and dispersed by Al Saud all across the world.

Sayyed Nasralla is scheduled to have another speech on the tenth of Muharram (tomorrow) declaring full support to the oppressed Yemeni people, adding that the marches on the tenth of Muharram (Ashura) will raise the slogans of solidarity with the Yemenis and that the mourning marchers will chant Ashura slogans which support the Yemeni resistance Ansarullah, the Yemeni army, the popular committees and the Yemeni people in general.
