Ahlul Bayt News Agency -ABNA- Two Egyptian members of the General Assembly of the Ahlul Bayt World Assembly were arrested at the Cairo airport just after their return from Iran!
Doctor Rasim al-Nafees and Sayyed Tahir al-Hashemi have been registered on the list of suspects (!) for their journey to Iran and participating in the 6th General Assembly of the Ahlul Bayt World Assembly.
They were in custody for several hours.
According to the report, all the things of doctor Nafees were confiscated by the airport authorities and also Mr. Hashemi's passport was revoked.
Nafees after the liberation in an interview with the Egyptian media said: "It seems that Egypt is back to before the revolution of January 25 ".
In recent years, under the propaganda of Wahhabism and Salafism, the Shiite activities have changed to a sensitive issue among some Egyptian officials.
