Forty Hadith of Sayyidah Fatimah according to Sunni sources was demanded from the women competitors, in accordance with laid down rules.

Grand finale of birth anniversary Commemoration of Sayyidah Fatimah Al-Zahra (S) took place in Kano on Thursday  16th April (27th of J/Thani 1436 lunar month). Thousands of people attended the gathering at Kano Jumaat mosque. Malama Zeenah Ibraheem was the guest speaker. After her lecture she presented gift items to those who excelled in various segments of Zahra Day Competition.

Forty Hadith of Sayyidah Fatimah according to Sunni sources was demanded from the women competitors, in accordance with laid down rules.

After intense scrutiny by judges, Alady Malama Aishatu Abdul Wahab Hasan from Kafin Hausa Local Government Area of Jigawa came first, and won a car.

Another lady, Malama Basira Ibrahim Shuaib  came second  and received a consolation prize of a refrigerator.

The third position was awarded to yet another lady, Malama Kubra Umar Muhammad who won a sewing machine.

The fourth and the fifth runner were  Malama Sabira Sulaiman Kazaure  and Malama Zulaikha Ishaq Kofar waika respectively and where also given consolation prizes.

Asa mark of honour and respect for Sayyidah Zahra on her birthday, about- to-marry less privileged females from families were assisted with household items such as beds, carpets, cussions chairs, room dividers and other utensils.

Birthday day cake was also cut. Malama Maimuna Abdullahi, who is the chief host, delivered the vote of thanks followed by a closing prayer.
