Ahlul Bayt News Agency ; Kazan -- The Muslim Fashion Week will be held in Kazan on October 25- 29, head of the Tatarstan Muslim Women Union Nailya Ziganshina said.

Designers, stylists, artists, manufacturers and representatives of trade organizations from Russia, Indonesia, Turkey, Morocco, Iran, Iraq, Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates will take part in the festival.

"Our aim is not only to show people models of beautiful actual Muslim wear, but to help manufacturers to tune up its production, to help trade organizations - shops, boutiques, salons, tailors to sell such a necessary product," the interviewee of the agency said.

Collections are presented in pret-a-porte class and will be evaluated in such nominations as "casual wear" and "evening dress for women," each of them will have categories "best youth collection," "best ethnic collection," "original decision," "best stylistic decision."

Besides, a Kazan designer will show his collection of swimwear for Muslim women (in compliance with Sharia canons, woman can open only her face, palms of the hands and feet - IF). "However he hasn't got rivals yet and this collection will be shown out of competition," Ziganshina said and expressed hope that next Islamic Clothes contest will have such a nomination.
