"Quran in the Mirror of Art" Exhibition to Open in Karachi


--An exhibition entitled "Quran in the Mirror of Art" is due to launched today, September 8, by Iran's Cultural Center in Karachi, Pakistan.

Local authorities of Sind Province along with Iranian officials in Pakistan will attend the opening ceremony of the exhibition which is mounted to showcase Quranic artworks by Iranian artists.

Ali Ashraf Ghanbari, Iranian expert of Quranic illumination and Mohammad Hassanzadeh, Iranian calligrapher, are the two artists whose Quranic works will be put on display at the exhibition.

The Quranic exhibition, to be held by Iran's Cultural Center in Karachi in cooperation with the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO) will be running until September 14.

Iran's Quranic delegation arrived in Karachi yesterday and is due to conduct various Quranic programs in the city.
